Help & quick start

SimLigaManager runs sim racing leagues for RaceRoom, Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2 and Assetto Corsa Competizione: sign-up with car choice, race calendar, results, drivers' and team standings, race control with tickets and strikes, and a driver rating. The website and the Discord bot work together: you log in with your Discord account, and the bot posts results, entry lists and attendance polls to your league's channels.

Below is the quick start for your role. The detailed guides are in the tabs above.

Quick start

Drivers

  1. Sign in with Discord (button at the top left). You will then see all leagues of the Discord servers you are a member of.
  2. Open Registration in the league: for RaceRoom enter your RaceRoom profile, for Le Mans Ultimate and Automobilista 2 click Link with Steam once and enter your real name.
  3. Choose class, car and livery (RaceRoom) or race number (LMU, AMS2, ACC), accept the rules and click Confirm registration.
  4. Before each race, click Attend or Decline in the Discord attendance post. The bot reminds you by direct message 7 days and 24 hours before.
  5. After the race: check results and standings, and report incidents under Tickets while the result is provisional.

The Discord bot

One bot for all leagues and servers. A server admin invites it via this link (also on the Pit Board and under Manage leagues & events → league → Discord). A new server is approved by the SimLigaManager operator (its admins get a direct message), then the admin picks channels and roles from lists. The bot does not read messages and needs no privileged intents.

ResultsProvisional result after the import, official result with the race control decisions after release, each with a track image and a link to the website. Corrections edit the post instead of posting again.
Live entry list“Official grid (live)” with one card per driver, per class in multiclass. It updates itself with every registration and withdrawal.
Paddock postCall for registrations with a button to the registration page and live seat count. The rulebook and bulletins are at the top of the registration page.
Attendance per racePost for the next race with the buttons Attend and Decline. It shows attending, declined and pending drivers and moves on to the next race automatically (tagging the league role once).
RemindersDirect message 7 days and 24 hours before the race to regular drivers who have not answered yet (can be switched off).
Driver roleGiven on registration and removed on withdrawal (both optional). The bot's role must be above the driver role in the role list.
TicketsOnly a “new ticket” notice with a link in the race control channel. The content stays on the website. Drivers get a direct message for questions and decisions, also without content.
TeamsInvitations as direct messages with Accept and Decline, the answer goes to the team captain.
Stream overlaysAfter the official release, the league admins get a direct message with a link to the download.
/ligaSlash command: shows you (only visible to you) the links to all leagues of the server and to this help.

Direct messages only arrive if you allow direct messages from server members (Discord → server → privacy settings).

Roles and rights

  • Visitors see a league's public pages (races & results, championship, entry list) if the league publishes them.
  • Drivers (logged in with Discord) see their leagues on the home page, register, and use tickets, teams and the driver rating.
  • Race control: whoever has the race control role set for the league in Discord. Only sees the race control area.
  • Admin: server owners, Discord administrators and whoever has the league's admin role. Sees administration and race control.

You stay signed in for 90 days. SimLigaManager syncs servers and roles with Discord automatically once a day; after a role change use My account → Sync with Discord now for an immediate update.
